The Hearts Behind It All
Brenna Vink
Co-Founder | Birth Doula | Childbirth Educator | 6 years experience | Chilliwack
Hi! I’m Brenna, a dairy farmers wife, mama to three wild children, gardener, sourdough baker, and birth doula. My heart is in holding space on the journey to motherhood. Here’s a little on how I got here:
All three of my birth experiences were different and each one empowered me a little more to dive deeper into who I am. My first baby was a hospital birth with small interventions along the way. My baby girl was born needing extra support breathing and a couple days stay in the NICU. This rocked my husband and I to the core. We were both traumatized by the birth and spent our postpartum season healing along side raising this little human.
After my first birth I vowed to myself that I would do anything I could to have a better birth outcome for my next baby. I became a birth doula and childbirth educator to inform myself on the importance of motherhood and childbirth. This passion continued into a very rewarding job that I love and cherish dearly.
My next two babies were born in the comfort of my bedroom with only the birth team I chose and allowed into my space (as well as my pup) it wasn’t easy, I found myself constantly advocating for what I believed I needed. But I believed in the power of my body and the process of birth to guide me.
I am now here with this passion and knowledge to serve the mothers in this community to my fullest capacity. Always learning along the way!
Grace Davidson
Co-Founder | Birth Doula | Postpartum Doula | Childbirth Educator | 3 years experience | Chilliwack
**Grace is currently only taking postpartum doula families
Hey there! I’m Grace – mom to two high energy toddlers, wife to my ever-social, hard-working husband, and a certified birth and postpartum doula through Doula Canada. My background as a Health Care Assistant and Medical Lab Assistant in hospitals, combined with my own transformative journey through motherhood, led me to this incredible work.
My passion for supporting families ignited after the birth of my second baby. My first birth stretched me in ways I never expected, but my second was a profound experience that redefined my sense of strength and resilience. With two little ones just 15 months apart, I quickly realized how vital community and care are for a peaceful, nourishing postpartum season. I believe deeply in the power of being held and nurtured so that parents can focus on holding their babies.
Now, I’m proud to offer that support to families across the valley. Alongside Brenna, I combine my experience and love for nurturing to ensure families feel seen, supported, and cared for during this tender time. When I’m not working with families, you’ll find me baking sourdough, tending my garden, enjoying time at the cabin, or catching some waves behind a boat.
I’m honored to walk this journey with you, offering the care and connection I found so valuable in my own motherhood experience.

I firmly believe that with the right village, you have the opportunity to thrive, and I am privileged to be a crucial member of that village for you.
Danika Almeida
Birth Doula | 18 years experience | Abbotsford
Hi everyone! I'm Danika. I'm a Mom to 3 awesome kids, I'm a wife to my amazing husband, we have been together for almost 20 years, married for almost 14 years. He is my best friend and the reason I can so passionately pursue birth work.
I have a diploma in Social Services as well as several certificates/training in substance abuse, non-violent crisis intervention, anger management, among others. I was a Youth Worker for the past 15 years working with high risk, street entrenched teens, but I recently resigned to focus solely on my love of being a doula.I attended my first birth 17 years ago and it completely changed my life. It awakened this fierce devotion in me to support women and their partners. To educate them, advocate for them, love, encourage, and hold space for them during one of life's most transformative and vulnerable experiences. I am fiercely passionate about informed consent, I never want someone to walk away from their birth feeling like it happened to them, I want them to feel empowered to make the decisions that work best for them and their birthing experience.
I live off coffee and carbs. I love being on, in, or near the water. I enjoy terribly inappropriate stand up comedy and I sorta feel like chocolate fixes most problems (convince me I'm wrong lol). I am a LGBTQ+ ally and I will never shy away from embracing, defending and advocating for a marginalized group. I am often asked "What kind of doula are you?" and I know what people mean when they say that. They are wondering if they want pain meds will I be ok with that? If they get an epidural will I judge them? If they need a C-section will I still support them? I always answer that question the same way "I am simply YOUR doula" I will be by your side every step of the way to guide you and make sure that whatever decisions you make are informed, to help you weigh the pros and cons of each option and to be a constant, unwavering support to both you and your partner. I've said it before and I'll say it again, I never grow tired of witnessing people become parents.
Hey there, I’m Jaiden! I’m a wife, mama and certified birth doula who is saved by the grace of God. My home is always filled with soup, laughter, music and dogs. I am so honoured at the opportunity to be invited into this transformative season in your family’s life. 🫶🏼
As your doula, my mission is to empower you with confidence, information and peace so that you can choose to do what feels right for you and your baby throughout your pregnancy and birth. Everyone’s dream birth experience is unique and that is a beautiful thing that should be respected. I believe in your ability to make informed, intuitive decisions that align with your values and needs.
I would love to walk alongside you during this time as your birth tour guide- providing compassionate care, support, knowledge and unwavering encouragement as you welcome your baby into the world!
